"Lottie Moon" @ The Post Office

What am I doing with my time - - - you may ask - - - Well, I've been asked to organize the "Post Office Exhibit" for Lottie Moon Christmas Offering @ my Church.  I find it very humbling to be asked - - - maybe no one else will do it - - but I'm delighted to assist - - I mean 'organize' !

I'm pulling out from Storage - the Little Portable Church Post Office Station and exhibit it in our Church Welcome Center - - to deliver Christmas Cards to our Church Family - - The amount to be spent on Postage will be given to the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering.  This has always seemed to be a delightful & enjoyable promotion technique for Lottie Moon Christmas Offering.

But - it's more work than it seems - - we also have to get busy and prepare our own Christmas Cards for our many Church Family Friends - - don't want to leave anyone out to receive a Christmas Card.  Yes, I've already begun preparing my Christmas Cards.  We also have Posters to post thru-out the halls of our Sunday School area.

Even as a Child, the Missionary, Lottie Moon, has always been a special individual to me - - Lottie was single all her life - Lottie served as a Missionary to China for 39 years - back in the late 1800's & early 1900's.  Lottie would bake cookies for those people that did not like her - - she used this technique to get their attention - to share the Gospel.   Another Missionary recommended the Christmas Mission Offering be named in honor of her (Lottie Moon) because of all her sincere & dedicated effort in sharing the Gospel in China.   I'm so thankful to have the opportunity to promote the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering (although in a small way) in my home Church.
