Well - - it's only Wednesday - - but I've already posted about our Ministry Team participating in the Prison Ministry this Saturday - - so - - now I'll share with you my Plans for Sunday Afternoon !
Sunday - - is the 5th Sunday of the Month - - It's time to visit our Homeless Friends "Under the Bridge" - - "Homeless Ministry" - - we'll present the "Word of God" & some lively Music - - and a nice, hot Lunch - - will give away clothes - toiletry items - and a "Kind Word".
There will be many tables set up on Sunday for our "Homeless Friends" - - I'm always assigned the Table with the "Gift Bags" - - These Gift Bags will consist of "Toiletry Items" - - Oh the Joy on their faces when they get their nice, little "Gift Bags". And - yes, I have been known to sneak a person more than 1 Gift Bag !
Would you believe - - you also make a Friend when you participate in this "Homeless Ministry" - -
So thankful we commute via the Church Bus - - We are all so tired after our "Homeless Ministry" as we relax on the Bus-Ride back to the Church Parking Lot.
This "Homeless Ministry" certainly makes a difference in my Sunday Afternoon !
