The R-12 - church-wide study has begun !
One of my 'Blog-Followers' has requested that I post a 'study summary' of each study meeting.
So here is a little Introduction.
One good thing - - - the church ran out of "Work-Books" - - Running out of books is a good thing. This means lots of people will be participating in this dynamic spiritual journey study.
Sunday Morning - - 8/18/2013 - - Our first meeting will be in our individual Sunday School classes. I have Dawn Campbell Pope as S.S. Teacher.
This Study requires "Home-Work" - So for Sunday - - we Focus on Verse 1 of R-12. - - We have to memorize Verse 1 - - of which I have already done - - and will type it from memory - below.
Some of you probably have memorized this verse from years gone by.
Surrended to God - - Daily
"And, I beseech you therefore brethern, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service."
Here's Hoping we do not have to memorize the entire chapter. However, if you have read R-12, you'll agree it is an easy, although dynamic chapter, soft-spoken - but gets the Word across.
You will quickly learn I am NOT a teacher - - but I have read Romans 12 (several times) and I know I'll enjoy sharing my thoughts and knowledge I have gained from this 'spriritual journey'.
