"LA Bags" - Bike Race !

DF Attorney Bobbie Monroe Bankston, is a member of the Cystic Fibrosis Planning Committee in Baton Rouge. She is assisting with their annual fundraiser, a bike ride scheduled for September 14, 2013 in St. Francisville. The Baton Rouge chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation was one of the first to institute this type of fundraiser. The national foundation office chose to create a national cycle event modeled on the success of the Baton Rouge event.

It is a JOY to have a very small part in this special race - - supporting Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Fundraiser.  

I've been asked to provide those special, little "LA Bags" - - - -which will hopefully be well received by the participants in the Race.   Someone said - - 'they love the small band-aid kits' that were donated by a local hospital.  - - - every Biker has use for band-aids while racing !   But, combine the band-aid kits with all the other small LA paraphenalia and this results in a cute, little LA Bag for the participants.      My personal favorite items are the LA Lapel pins.

Also, a very special THANKS to some special vendors who so generously donated a few door prizes for this special event.   Thus far, we have obtained donations for door prizes of the following - - T-shirt w/matching hat;  3 Restaurant Gift Cards;  and - - - - what everyone loves - - a bag full of hair salon products w/blow dryer donated by Fantastic Sam's Hair Salon.   Want to keep that hair in place - - while racing!   With a few weeks left, hopefully we can get a few more door-prizes.!

Bobbie - this is a wonderful cause - - for a wonderful, special group of people.
