F I G S - - - Do you recognize these little delicacies ?
These are not just any figs - - These are the harvest from one of my grandma's fig trees that grew in her back yard. This tree is about - or at least - - 45 years of age. - - and generations long after my grandma are reaping the harvest of her labor from her beautiful garden.
My neighbor that has bought the house has so kindly shared these figs with me - and I have shared them with my sister and an aunt. - - - - - -"They taste the same as they did back then."
how nice. I always loved those figs. I ate them right off the tree. Wish I was there to get some.
ReplyDeleteI love the figs. Cant believe I am eating figs off of Maw's tree. I thought they were gone forever.
ReplyDeleteI was telling Bobbie that I have never, in my life, seen a fig before! Now I have. But are they a fruit? A nut?
