Hello - - and I'm glad you dropped by - -

Well - I felt as though I was in concert last night - on stage - before a large audience - being taped for a future TV appearance. - - - But, it was all on stage - being taped for future TV appearance - - but it was not me - - It was the Bill Gaither Gospel Homecoming Reunion 2009 - River Center - Baton Rouge. I was blessed with winning a pair of tickets to attend this event.

How did I win them - you ask ? While driving home one evening in rush hour traffic - - nothing about rush in this traffic - it's all bumper to bumper - - so with my radio on - - I heard my favorite radio station say - be the 12th caller (yes - 12) - - and you will win a pair of free tickets to the Bill Gaither Gospel Homecoming Reunion - - and guess what - - I won ! - -

Then there is "Intermission" - - a wonderful opportunity of getting to meet them - - - and, yes I talked to my favorite few ! It's always amazing (encouraging) - - that even though the majority of these guys travel by 'motor coach' - - and rarely sleep becuz the multiple concert tours (daily) - - -they are always sharing testimony - and you find out - - these great people - are just like you and I. Singing it all thru song.

I've always wanted to be a 'singer' - - In my younger days - it was a 'country music singer' - - but now as I get older - - I would love to be a Gospel Singer - - ! A friend adn I are considering singing on '5th Sunday Night Singing' - - but we both sing ALTO - so this may not work. But until that time occurs - I'll continue going and listening to my favorite groups.

Today - My daily steps led me to the following reality - - A flat in the driveway - - - Not too funny, huh? But I'm thankful - the flat occurred in the driveway - ! - - and not on the road - - My Aunt let me borrow her vehicle - - - and my neighbor said - he will change the flat before I return home. What a sweet Aunt - - and a great neighbor. I'm so thankful for both of them.
