Well - - I just love my Sunday School Class of Ladies - - We are older - - but do not refer to ourselves as Senior Citizens (of which we ALL qualify) - - -
Ironically, we are going to host the Christmas Luncheon in a few weeks for Judson's "Yesterday's Youth" (another name for the Senior Citizens of the Church) - - no - we are not members of "Yesterday's Youth" (although we qualify !) - - but we look forward to hosting the Christmas Luncheon ! Last year we made 100 of these little "Sock Snowmen" for our Senior Citizens ! They LOVED these ! Still trying to figure out what to make for this Year !
Currently, my Sunday School Class of Ladies are involved in the Church Ministry Project called - "The Foster Village" - which is conveniently located on our Church Campus. "The Foster Village" provides clothing & other necessities for Foster Parents caring for Foster Children. My Sunday School Class has taken a special interest in "The Foster Village" - - as we put our funds together & donate a Case of Diapers once a month. It's just a little something - that fits our little Budgets - - but is greatly appreciated.
This past Saturday was "Work Day" - - we could go and Tour the Place - Pray over the Place - Work - Sort Clothing - Fill Welcome Bags - - U can find something to do. I went and spent a short while packing outfits to put in a Suit Case for Foster Children being placed into Foster Homes. I'm so grateful for my Sunday School Friend, Diane who has taken a lead in this Project & encourages our Class to be a friend to "The Foster Village". I was able to visit with Diane this past "Work Day" at "The Foster Village".
So much that you do. Bless you.
