The Daughter of one of the Ladies in our Class has written & published her 3rd Book - This one entitled Feathered Bone - - by Julie Cantrell. Her Mother (in our Class) is Cindy Perkins (a retired School Teacher). Julie held a Book-Signing Event at the Livingston Parish Courthouse last Saturday. Our Sunday School Ladies dropped by to show our Support & to spread a little JOY.
The subject matter of her book is on "Local Trafficking" - The Feathered Bone is a story of seeking hope and purpose in the wake of tragedy and loss. It is a story told through the darkest corners of humanity with quiet and unquestionable faith.
This particular Book-Signing Event included a Panel of representatives from the Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office, the HOPE Ministry House which is actually housed in a secluded area in Livingston Parish, & a few other dignitaries to discuss the subject matter.

I enjoyed being with my group of Sunday School Ladies Saturday morning!
