Mexican Fiesta - - for the Kids !

The latest Mission Project I was involved in was a Mexican Fiesta at Judson - - - sponsoring Christmas gifts for the children in the Orphanage that Judson sponsors in Mexico - - and for the children in the Mexico Villages.  For most children, this is all they will receive for Christmas.  This will open the door to their families to hear the Word of GOD.   The Missionaries of the Mexico Orphanage are from my home town of Walker, Louisiana.  They are the 'Lovett Family".

Remember the stuffed toy animals we began making the beginning of the year - - well, our little group of ladies completed 1,305 of these little animals - - in 7 months time.   Did not cost a penny - -all material & labor were donated  - - I'm very pleased to say my Sunday School Class really got involved and completed a large portion.  My interest was in the Tracing & Cutting of the Patterns !

1,000 were donated to the Nicaragua Mission Christmas Gifts & 305 were donated to the Mexico Orphanage & Villages.  We exceeded our goal of 1,200.

Judson has been going on yearly Mission Trips to Mexico - - Unfortunately, these Mexico Mission Trips are on hold to the Mexico Orphanage due to the on-going problems in Mexico - - however; we have a couple that will deliver the gifts to the Mexico Border.   I look forward to when the Mission Trips to Mexico begin once again !
