V.B.S. - at Judson !

Remember - - Vacation Bible School as a kid !
Well - - it's that time (again) at Judson - - this week


A number of the ladies in my Sunday School are volunteering to work in VBS this week.
They are taking their little grandchildren.


The grandma's (in my S.S. class) are filled with so much Joy to be taking their little ones to VBS.
But they do say - - it makes for an exhausting day - - but nevertheless - - the Grandmas are filled with Joy.


I plan to attend the Friday evening - VBS - Family Night.
I'll go see what my fellow Sunday School Ladies have been doing all this week !


They have new Volunteer Positions at VBS - - - with 600 children enrolled in Judson's VBS each Summer - - they need Adult volunteers to lead the children to and from each class & to snacks.
This is what most of the ladies in my S.S. class do.  I look forward to joining them one year !


I see why my Grandma enjoyed Volunteering in V.B.S. each year - - when I was a child.
She always worked in the Kitchen each year with her Sunday School Ladies - -
She was so joyful and always looked forward to this !


My Grandma would make the frozen ice to use in the Kool-Aid !
Church would provide the 'Jack's Cookies' !     Loved those 'Jack's Cookies'.


Maw Young served the Lord with her heart - - in everything she did.
She was such a Godly Example !
