'Tis the Season' - - it's been a year since my dad was called home to be with the Lord. The last year of his life was lived at Harvest Manor Nursing Home. After many visits with my dad - my grandma - and now my Aunt, I have come to call 'Harvest Manor' - - a loving & friendly place to visit. Many friends have been made! I believe these are 'lasting friendships.'
Last evening - Thursday - Dec. 12 - I was Blessed with the opportunity to celebrate Christmas with my Aunt & friends I have made at Harvest Manor. It was truly a festive - special - occasion.
Harvest Manor really went to a lot of effort to host the residents a grand Christmas Celebration. On this particular evening - (Thursday 12/12/2013) - there were truly happy faces - and happy people - and a special Spirit amidst the celebration. There was a lot of JOY. Thru the eyes of all - - truly the JOY OF CHRISTMAS was in this place. !
