R-12 - 'Renew Your Mind'

This 'R-12' (Romans chapter 12) study is truly a dynamic study.  It's becoming much deeper than originally assumed.   This past week focused on Romans 12:verse 2

                              And, by ye transformed by the 'renewing of your mind'  -
                                  that you will find the perfect, pleasing will of GOD.

What enters our minds - - determine what we become

How do I "Renew My Mind" ?

1.  Sacrifice a period of time - - from your Television Shows !
2.  Sacrifice a period of time - - from the Radio Station !
3.  Sacrifice a period of time - - from Computer - - face-book - - - internet surfing
4.  Sacrifice a period of time - - from reading stuff

During this 'sacrifice of time' - - focus on the following:

  5.  Maintain a Daily Devotional with God
  6.  Meditate on the scripture - - see what God is saying to you
  7.  Memorize a verse or two
  8.  Listen to Christian Music
  9.  Read Psalms
10.  Pray and just focus on GOD - -

Admit it - - it's hard to sacrifice our computer age!

These are just a few suggestions that will renew your mind and allow you to truly focus upon Christ !
