The Basket Quilt !
This King-size Quilt was my 2nd one to make - - many years ago - - the baskets are made from old shirts that I had - ! I will be the first to admit - -it's not really pretty - - but i was told - - once the backing is put on - and it's quilted - -it will be Beautiful - - So - it will be going to the quilters soon - - after I find the backing ! By the way - if you look closely - - you'll see each basket has also been outlined with embroidery!

quilts are one of a kind. that is what makes them heirlooms. taking the challenge to make them, handmade, creativity, and the finished quilted piece is what makes them unique.yours looks wonderful, and will be even more so after the quilting.
